Anyone who knows me well would know I would be greatly amused by the idea of walking on water. The walls were underwater during high tide and created a wading pool of warmish water for swimming. As the tide moved out it was possible to safely walk across the top of the walls and it gave the illusion that one was walking on top of the water.
